The A-line Shift Dress is an absolute retro classic with its origins in the 1960s. You can make the dress with a color block effect or in a print. Choose from 3 different sleeve lengths or go sleeveless. For the neck you have many options, choose from a Peter Pan collar, a pointed collar, or a round collar with or without button details. What's more ALL of these options can be applied to a high or a lowered neckline. You also have the option of buttoned side flaps and a buttoned back detail. The dress has a slightly flared A-line with bust seams. There are two side seam options plus back and front darts if you want a more tailored look. The pattern is suitable for various types of jersey such as a Punta, single jersey, French terry or jacquard jersey.
